This privacy statement covers Silanex’s corporate website, www.silanex.com. Silanex Corporation, hereinafter referred as Silanex, is the sole owner of information collected on this site.

2. What information do we collect and what do we do with it?

If you contact Silanex via e-mail or a “Contact Us” form, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We will try to respond in a timely manner. Silanex also occasionally asks users to complete surveys that we use for research purposes. By providing your e-mail address (e.g., completing a “Contact Us” form, accessing a product data sheet, accessing an application, applying for a Premier Account, signing up for technical updates, accessing Live Help, and other situations), we are registering you on this site. Besides storing your e-mail ID, we store information you have provided within “My Contact Information” within Profile/Preferences, and any information you have provided when applying for a Premier Account. We use this information to save you the time of re-entering on “Contact Us” forms, My Custom Compound application, and other areas on the site. We may also use this information to send you confirmations, special offers, surveys, and other information as required or in order to contact you. We do purchase/rent/lease e-mail lists for which we do not have direct access to the addresses and therefore are unable to remove you from the e-mail communication if you have previously unsubscribed from receiving communications from Silanex. We rely on the fact that you gave permission to the owner of the purchased/rented/leased e-mail list and therefore we are in compliance with this Privacy Statement.

Silanex uses state-of-the-art technology to safeguard your information in a secure manner. Should you choose to protect your information with a password, your account information will be encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). You may edit your information at any time by using your password.
Silanex will release customer's Personal Information if required to do so by law or by search warrant, subpoena or court order .
The Silanex website is currently hosted in the United States. The fact that your data is being processed outside the European Economic Area may mean that your rights under EU Data Protection legislation are adversely affected or inapplicable. By submitting your personal data through this website, you shall be consenting to its being processed by Silanex Corporation on servers located outside the European Economic Area.
